We rely on the trustworthiness and the IT and data security of MailChimp. They are certificated to the US-EU-data protection agreement with a "privacy shield". Thereby they are obliged to stick to the EU-data security guidelines. Furthermore, we have passed a "Data-Processing-Agreement" with MailChimp. This consists of a contract in which MailChimp is committing to protect our user's data according to our privacy policy in our commission and particularly not to pass any data on to third parties. It is sufficient to indicate your email address when registering for the newsletter.

Statistical survey and analyses

The newsletter consist of a so called "web-beacon", id est a pixel-sized file that is called by MailChimp's server during the opening of the newsletter. In the scope of this call, technical information such as information about the browser, the operating system, your IP-address as well as the date of calling is ascertained. This information is used for technical improvement of the service, by reference to the technical data or target groups and their reading behavior based on their locations (those that are determinable with the IP-address) or the access time.

You can cancel receiving the newsletter at any time, id est revoke your consent of receiving newsletters. Therewith, your consent on receiving newsletters via MailChimp and statistical analysis will lapse. Unfortunately, a separated disclaimer of receiving newsletters via MailChimp and the statistical analysis is not possible.

Data use for e-mail advertisement without newsletter-registration and your right of objection

If we obtain your email in the context of selling a product or services and you have not discounted, we reclaim our right to send you offers to similar products on a regular basis.
